2017-18 College Football Bowl Season TV Schedule

Forty college football games are slated to take place from Dec. 16 thru Jan. 8 for the 2017-18 bowl season, culminating in the College Football Playoff National Championship on Jan. 8 from the recently-opened Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.

In prime time on Jan. 1, one of the College Football Playoff Semifinal games will feature the Alabama Crimson Tide versus the ACC champion Clemson Tigers in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, La. This is a rematch of last year’s College Football Playoff National Championship which Clemson had emerged victorious.

Earlier on Jan. 1, the other College Football Playoff Semifinal game will be at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Ca. and features the Big 12 champion Oklahoma Sooners — possessing the best offense in the country — versus the SEC champion Georgia Bulldogs whose defense ranks fourth in the nation.

The other notable bowl matchups include: Pac-12 champion USC Trojans (with potential NFL prospective quarterback Sam Darnold) versus Big Ten champion Ohio State Buckeyes (who just missed out on a spot in the Top 4 playoff teams) in the Cotton Bowl (Dec. 29); Penn State vs. Washington in the Fiesta Bowl (Dec. 30); and, the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl on Jan. 1 features college football’s lone undefeated team — the Central Florida Knights — taking on the Auburn Tigers who were the only team to have beaten the Alabama Crimson Tide. Auburn fell short of the playoffs due to their loss to Georgia in the SEC Championship game from Dec. 2.

The following is the college football’s bowl schedule (ranks according to the weekly College Football Playoff committee poll), including dates, start times, TV networks and scheduled announcers.

All times Eastern; schedule subject to change.
