2018 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament First Round TV and Announcer Schedule

Games to take place on March 16-17, 2018

March 12 was Selection Monday for the 64 women’s teams; their seedings and regions were announced for the upcoming annual tournament to ultimately determine college’s women’s national champion in Division I basketball.

There will be 63 tournament games televised on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3. The tournament’s early round games will air regionally, according to its suitable television market.

The bracket’s overall No. 1 seed, the undefeated UConn Huskies (32-0 for 2017-18), are aiming to earn their twelfth national championship overall in their lauded school history.

Louisville (32-2), Notre Dame (29-3) and the team that knocked off UConn in last year’s Final Four semifinal Mississippi State (32-1) are the other No. 1 seeds in the tournament.

After winning its first national championship last year, South Carolina is the No. 2 seed in the Albany region this year — the same region that also has aforementioned UConn.

The Final Four semifinal and national championship title games will be held at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on Friday Mar. 30 and Sunday Apr. 1 — all three games will air on ESPN.

The following are the scheduled game start times (all times Eastern; start times subject to change), locations and respective networks for the first two rounds of tournament action:
