2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics Day 9 TV and Announcer Schedule

For the first time ever at a Winter Olympics, NBC will broadcast Olympic primetime competition live across all time zones. Whether daytime, primetime or “Primetime Plus” (formerly the late night show), all U.S. viewers will be able to watch NBC’s coverage of the XXIII Olympic Winter Games from PyeongChang, South Korea, at the same time.

NBCOlympics.com will offer live streaming of the NBC broadcast network, including primetime and Primetime Plus, and NBCSN will air live primetime coverage, both firsts at a Winter Games.

Highlights of Day 9 Events:

Female speed skater Lee Sang-Hwa is one of South Korea’s biggest Olympic stars, having won the title of women’s 500m champion gold medalist at the last two Winter Games, but the Lego collector hasn’t won a World Cup race in two years. She finished second to Japanese favorite Nao Kodaira seven times in that span.

The U.S. has three of the top six ice dancing couples in the world, even with the absence of Sochi gold medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White, who haven’t competed since the last Winter Games. Siblings Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani and Madison Chock and Evan Bates made a combined five world championships podiums, but the new national champs are Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue.

Defending Olympic gold medalist Maddie Bowman leads a strong American group into women’s halfpipe qualifying of freestyle skiing.

Bobsled’s two-man event gets underway with Germany favored for gold behind top pilots Francesco Friedrich and Johannes Lochner.

Cross-Country rivals Sweden and Norway duel for gold in the men’s 4x10km relay.

In the Freestyle Skiing men’s aerials final, Team USA’s Jon Lillis and Mac Bohonnon are among the threats to gold medal favorite Qi Guangpu of China.

In Biathlon, France’s Martin Fourcade, after back-to-back Olympic silver medals in the men’s 15km mass start, seeks a golden upgrade against a field that includes reigning world champion Simon Schempp of Germany.

The following are the events including dates, start times, TV networks and announcers. All times Eastern unless otherwise noted.
