2018 Screen Actors Guild Award Nominations Announced

Nominations for the 24th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced on Dec. 13. In the field of television, Netflix leads the pack with 19 nominations. Out of the ten lead female nominees comnined in both the drama and comedy categories, eight are associated with a Netflix series.

Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and HBO’s “Big Little Lies” each tie for the series lead with four nominations.

The 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will air on Jan. 21 on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET. Kristen Bell (“The Good Place”) will emcee the ceremony.
