Thursday Final Nationals: ‘American Idol’ Series Ender Draws Best Finale Ratings in Three Years

The 126-minute “American Idol” series farewell (for now) helped Fox rule Thursday night, by far, with an average of 13.3 million viewers and dominating all key demos.

It was the most-watched, highest-rated “American Idol” season finale in three years (14.13 million, 3.6 adults 18-49 rating, 5/16/2013) and the most-watched telecast of “American Idol” in two years (13.43 million, 2/05/2014).
