ABC Cancels ‘Of Kings and Prophets’

'Beyond the Tank' Inherits the Tuesday 10 p.m. Time Period Next Week

After just two episodes, ABC has swung the proverbial axe on low-rated Tuesday 10 p.m. drama “Of Kings and Prophets.” Originally, “Of Kings and Prophets” was scheduled for the Sunday 10 p.m. hour last fall. But ABC pulled it for retooling (which is normally the kiss of early death), and “Quantico” stepped in. Ratings in the second – and now final – episode this week sunk to a mere 2.42 million viewers and a 0.5 rating/2 share in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data.

Earlier this season, freshman drama “Wicked City” lasted for three episodes in this time period.

“Shark Tank” companion series “Beyond the Tank” will inherit the Tuesday 10 p.m. hour next week.
