Period Drama Buried to Saturday After Just Three Episodes

Shonda Rhimes period drama “Still Star-Crossed,” which was initially expected in midseason, is now being moved to Saturday to burn-off the remainder of its low-rated episodes. This week, the third installment of “Still Star-Crossed” averaged a mere 1.61 million viewers and a 0.3 rating/1 share in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data (out of 5.90 million viewers and a 1.6/ 6 in the demo for lead-in “The Bachelorette”).

The first Saturday night installment of “Still Star-Crossed” begins on July 8. There is no word at present what will now occupy the Monday 10 p.m. hour on ABC.
