‘Duck Dynasty’ to Return on A&E on January 13

Upcoming Ninth Season to Conclude with Episode No. 100 on February 17

The clan called Robertson will return for season nine of A&E docuseries staple “Duck Dynasty” on Wednesday, January 13 with back-to-back episodes from 9-10 p.m. ET.  This nine-episode season will conclude on February 17th with a one-hour 100th episode featuring a family road trip to move John Luke and Mary Kate into Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Debuting on March 21, 2012, “Duck Dynasty” peaked in the ninth edition with an average of 9.2 million viewers.  But controversy following patriarch Phil Robertson’s anti-gay comments in the January 2014 issue of GQ Magazine led to a temporary suspension, resulting in considerable audience slippage.
