Amazon Orders Two More Seasons of ‘Catastrophe’

Sitcom Now Confirmed for At Least Four Seasons

Amazon has issued a two season pick-up to comedy “Catastrophe,” with the upcoming third season debuting at an undisclosed time in 2007 and the fourth season in 2018. “Catastrophe” stars Sharon Horgan as Sharon Morris and Rob Delaney as Rob Norris, who get together after she gets pregnant following a brief affair while he is in the UK on business The series also features Carrie Fisher, Ashley Jensen, and Mark Bonnar.

Said Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney: “It used to be when you heard the word ‘catastrophe’ you thought of something terrible or destructive. Most people still do, but now some people might also think of our show. So that has to be a positive. We’re very excited to have the opportunity to wreak more terrible destruction on the lives of Sharon and Rob.”

“Catastrophe” is executive produced by Richard Allen-Turner (“Workaholics”), Kara Baker (“Jen”), Delaney, Horgan and Jon Thoday (“Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” “Workaholics”).
