Amazon Renews ‘Bosch’ for Season 5

Season 4 Begins on April 13

Amazon has greenlit crime procedural “Bosch” for a fifth season prior to its fourth season debut (which will be available for streaming on Friday, April 13th). The series, based on the best-selling Michael Connelly novels, will also see executive producers Eric Overmyer and Daniel Pyne team up as co-showrunners.

Debuting on Feb. 6, 2014, “Bosch” follows LAPD Detective Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch (Titus Welliver) as he tries to solve the most elusive cases. The fifth season will be based on the novel “Angels Flight.” The logline: An attorney is murdered the night before his civil rights trial begins, and the explosive case threatens to throw LA into chaos. And the call may be coming from inside the house, as leads send Bosch sniffing around his own department for the murderer.

The cast of “Bosch” also includes Jamie Hector (“The Wire”), Amy Aquino (“Being Human”), Madison Lintz (“The Walking Dead”), and Lance Reddick (“The Wire”).
