Amazon Renews ‘Just Add Magic’ for Season Two

Most-Watched Amazon Kids Original Premiere Weekend

Amazon has issued a second season renewal to live-action single-camera kids series “Just Add Magic.” Targeted to kids aged 6 to 11 and based on the book by Cindy Callaghan of the same name, “Just Add Magic” follows follows a girl named Kelly (Olivia Sanabia) and her two best friends Darbie (Abby Donnelly) and Hannah (Aubrey Miller) as they stumble upon a mysterious cookbook in Kelly’s attic and discover the recipes in this book are far from ordinary – they’re magical. The series will return exclusively to Prime Video for members to stream at no additional cost to their Prime membership. Just Add Magic set a record as the most successful Amazon Original Kids premiere weekend in terms of US Prime Video streams and hours.

“Just Add Magic” also stars Dee Wallace (“E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial”), Amy Hill (“50 First Dates”), Catia Ojeda (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and Andrew Burlinson (“Parks and Recreation”).
