Nickelodeon Extends Episode Order for ‘Mutt & Stuff’

Thirteen Additional Episodes Ordered

Nickelodeon has picked up 13 additional episodes of preschool series “Mutt & Stuff” from Sid & Marty Krofft (“H.R. Pufnstuf,” “Land Of The Lost)”. The announcement comes just ahead of the second season premiere episode featuring the Harlem Globetrotters airing Friday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. ET on Nickelodeon. The increased order from the network brings the total episodes to 73 for the first two seasons of “Mutt & Stuff’” New episodes of “Mutt & Stuff” will continue to roll out through the fall in its regular weekday timeslot at 9:30 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

Set in a unique school for dogs, “Mutt & Stuff” stars Calvin Millan and his dad, Cesar, star of “Cesar 911” and “Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan,” interacting with a cast of both real dogs and puppets. With the help of 15 playful puppies and charismatic puppets, Calvin educates preschoolers on how to train and guide their dogs, as well as showcase the friendship and loyalty that puppies can provide. The series has a social-emotional curriculum that helps preschoolers identify and manage emotions, build interpersonal awareness and develop social skills.

“Mutt & Stuff” is created and executive produced by the Kroffts, along with Bradley Zweig. Cesar Millan also serves as executive producer.
