Sundance TV Issues Second Season Pick-Up to ‘Hap and Leonard’

Six-Episode First Season Netted Favorable Reviews

Sundance TV has announced it will move forward on a second season of drama “Hap and Leonard,” which is adapted from the crime novel series by Joe R. Lansdale and features James Purefoy and Michael K. Williams (“The Wire”) as two mismatched best friends who take part in a get-rich-quick scheme that quickly goes awry. The six-episode first season launched in March.

“Hap and Leonard” also stars Christina Hendricks, Jimmi Simpson, Bill Sage, and Pollyanna McIntosh, and is created by director Jim Mickle (“Cold in July,” “Stakeland”) and actor Nick Damici.
