TV Land Renews ‘Younger’ for Season Three

Twelve New Episodes Ordered Before Second Season Premiere

TV Land, which remains in search in more trendy type comedies, has ordered a third season of “Younger.” Created by Darren Starr (“Sex and the City”), “Younger” follows a 40-year old woman named Liza (Sutton Foster) who pretends to be 26 in order to get a job in the highly competitive world of publishing – and succeeds. Now working under the prickly Diana (Miriam Shor), Liza has to figure out how to balance her real life with best friend Maggie (Debi Mazar), and her “pretend” life with her new crew. Twelve new episodes have been ordered.

The upcoming sophomore season begins Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 10 p.m. ET with two back-to-back episodes. Upcoming guests in season two include Matthew Morrison, Camryn Manheim, Kathy Najimy, Martha Plimpton (“Raising Hope”), Bobby Flay and Ice-T.
