Candace Cameron Bure to Exit ‘The View’

Four Co-Hosts Now Remain: Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Paula Faris and Sara Haines

On the same day that Netflix is offering season two of sitcom “Fuller House” comes word that Candace Cameron Bure is exiting ABC’s “The View.” “I tried to be superwoman but I am going to not try anymore,” she said on yesterday’s show in reference to traveling from Los Angeles to New York to do the show. Bure joined “The View” in 2015 after making frequent appearances and her departure comes two months after Raven-Symone, who left to appear in a revival of Disney Channel sitcom “That’s So Raven.”

In the latest hosting scorecard, this leaves veteran “The View” with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Paula Faris and Sara Haines. Jedediah Bila and Sunny Hostin are frequent contributors.
