CBS Extends Episode Orders for ‘Man With a Plan’ and ‘Superior Donuts’

Eight Additional Episodes Ordered for Each Half-Hour

On the heels of the cancellation of “Wisdom of the Crown” comes word of full season renewals for sophomore Monday comedies “Man With a Plan” and “Superior Donuts.” Both have received an order for eight additional episodes, taking the season to 21 for each. Bench-warmer “Man With a Plan” returned on Nov. 6 in place of freshman ‘9JKL,” which was shipped to Monday at 9:30 p.m. in place of canceled “Me, Myself & I.”

Waiting in the wings on CBS in midseason is Johnny Galecki-produced Warner Bros. Television comedy “By the Book,” which follows a modern-day man who, at a crossroads in his life, decides to live according to the Bible.
