CBS Orders New Dick Wolf Crime Solver for 2018-19

Series Tentatively Titled 'F.B.I.'

The start of the new TV season has not even begun and CBS has given a 13-episode order for 2018-19 to Dick Wolf for a new drama tentatively titled “F.B.I.” a co-production of Universal Television and CBS Television Studios, “F.B.I.” will focus on the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Dick Wolf, Craig Turk (“The Good Wife”), Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski will serve as executive producers. Turk will serve as showrunner and is writing the pilot episode.

Wolf, of course, is a major producer of content for NBC, with his current roster of primetime shows including “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago PD,” “Chicago Med,” “Law & Order: SVU” and upcoming “Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Brothers.”
