Ratings Breakdown:
NBC stood well above the Monday competition care of rock-solid “The Voice,” which scored a 7.5 rating/12 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. (peaking in the 9 p.m. half-hour at an 8.0/13). In week two news on NBC was drama “Taken,” which won the 10 p.m. hour with a 3.8/ 6 in the overnights. Comparably, however, overnight retention for “Taken” out of the 9:30 p.m. portion of “The Voice” (7.9/13) was only 48 percent. This was also 14 percent below “Blindspot” on the year-ago evening (4.4/ 8 on 3/07/16). And “Taken” dropped by 17 percent from the 4.6/ 8 opener one week earlier, which translated into 7.45 million viewers and a 1.6 rating/6 share in adults 18-49, based on the Live + Same Day data.

On ABC, a one-hour edition of “The Bachelor” (#2: 5.3/ 8 at 8 p.m.), which was on par with the year-ago evening, led into a 4.2/ 7 for 9-11 p.m. ET special, “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All.” Next Monday “The Bachelor” concludes for the season.

Aside from recent sitcom entry “Superior Donuts” (#3: 4.1/ 6 in the 9 p.m. half-hour), CBS was in all repeats. An encore of “The Big Bang Theory” opened with a 5.0/ 8 at 8 p.m. (#3), followed by a 3.9/ 6 (#3) for “Man With a Plan” at 8:30 p.m. A 9:30 p.m. encore edition of “Kevin Can Wait” (#3: 3.2/ 5), which won’t have to wait long for a second season renewal, led into a 3.1/ 5 (#3) for a “Scorpion” repeat at 10 p.m. Next Monday, “Superior Donuts” tackles a serious issue.

Elsewhere, Fox was at typical Monday overnight levels care of recent entries“24: Legacy” (#4: 2.7/ 4) and “APB” (#4: 2.3/ 4), which both seem unlikely to return next season. And “Supergirl” (#5: 1.7/ 3 at 8 p.m.) led into a 0.7/ 1 for a repeat of “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” at 9 p.m.
