  1. Simon really got that AGT ship turned around that was a great hire for the show this season he really lifted up the ratings. I couldn’t get into AGT the past two seasons for some reason though although I wanted to, I feel bad though because I heard this was a great season with great talent.

Kind of surprised Blindspot did that well since its not a new show and was slipping back in the spring. It did pretty much around what it did behind The Voice with slightly higher viewership but I’m not sure it’s going to hold up that well on its own in a tough timeslot next Wednesday leading off. I’m not liking the 50% bleed behind the lead-in either I can see it getting cancelled after this season. I think NBC made a huge mistake getting rid of Laura to lead-off that lineup with SVU and CPD. We’ll see what happens. Blindspot is a pretty good show I watched the premiere last night and Jaimie Alexander is a terrific lead actress.

    • Losing 50% of your lead-in is not “doing well”… And then it lost more at the half-hour…

Blindspot did poorly last year and continues to do so.

We do disagree on its quality (both production and actress – to be fair she doesn’t have much to work with).

  2. AGT had a good summer season in the numbers. Masterchef I enjoyed with the rotating third judge and I liked the finale format much better this season. Keep it that way next summer.

Blindspot started off fine after AGT but I predict it will go the route of Revolution in its slated Wednesday at 8PM time slot. It was already not holding the Voice’s numbers late last season and I don’t know how it can do any better by itself on Wednesday.
