Clemson Tigers Win College Football Playoff National Championship

The Clemson Tigers upset the Alabama Crimson Tide and won the college football national championship, 35-31, in Tampa early Tuesday morning (Jan. 10).

In a wild second half, Clemson scored with 1 second left to stun Alabama.

Clemson was led by its star quarterback, Deshaun Watson, who threw for 420 yards despite facing a defense heralded as one of the best ever.

ESPN2 aired a simulcast of this National Championship that featured announcers Joe Tessitore and Barrett Jones
