David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess to Headline AMC’s ‘Feed the Beast’

Production to Begin in February on 10 Episodes

Former “Friends” star David Schwimmer, who will appear in upcoming “American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson” on FX, and Jim Sturgess (“21,” “Across the Universe”) will star in AMC’s upcoming original series “Feed the Beast.” A co-production between AMC Studios and Lionsgate and based on the Danish series “Bankerot,” “Feed the Beast” tells the story of two best friends who take their last shot at opening a restaurant together.

“Feed the Beast” will be adapted by writer/showrunner Clyde Phillips (“Dexter,” “Nurse Jackie”), who also serves as executive producer. Production will begin in New York City in February 2016 and the 10 one-hour episodes are set to premiere in May 2016.
