’43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award’ Nominations Announced

“The Young and the Restless” on CBS led the field of Daytime Emmy Award nominees once again with a total of 27 nods. ABC’s “General Hospital” was No. 2 overall with 24, followed by CBS’ “Bold and the Beautiful” (23) and NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” (16). Each of the four daytime dramas are nominated for Best Drama Series.

Vying for Entertainment Talk Show are CBS’ “The Talk,” ABC’s “The View” and the syndicated “Wendy Williams Show,” “Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “The Real.” And competing in the category of court are “Divorce Court, “Hot Bench,” “Judge Judy,” “Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court” and “People’s Court.”
