Chelsea Handler Netflix Talker Shifts to Weekly

Each Episode Will Increase in Length to One Hour

The upcoming second season of Chelsea Handler Netflix talker “Chelsea,” which returns on Friday, April 14 at 12:01 a.m.ET, is shifting from three nights per week to just once per week. But the episode length, which was 20 to 40 minutes per episode in season one, will increase to one hour.

Debuting on May 11, 2016, season two of :Chelsea” will feature more in-depth interviews, bigger field pieces and dinner parties, with more on location shooting (including footage from India, Europe, Montana and Washington, D.C., among other locations). Season two will stream for 30 weeks, and 30 hours, which is a decline from the 45 hours in the inaugural season.

Originally, in July, Netflix announced it had renewed “Chelsea” for an additional 90 episodes.
