Crackle Orders Original Drama ‘Snatch’

Crackle has placed an order for 10-episodes of a drama called “Snatch” based on the Guy Ritchie heist movie in 2010. The logline: “Snatch” will center on a group of twenty-something, up and coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck load of stolen gold bullion and are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime. The boys must quickly learn to navigate the treacherous waters of London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend.

The 2000 film “Snatch,” from Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Screen Gems, starred Benicio Del Toro, Dennis Farina, Jason Flemyng, Brad Pitt, Vinnie Jones, Jason Statham and Rade Sherbedgia. There is no release date or casting news on this TV show adaptation.
