Former Food and Travel Themed Series Too Costly for PBS

Food and travel-themed series “I’ll Have What Phil’s Having,” which aired on PBS in 2015, is moving to Netflix. The six-episode series, which overall received positive reviews in season one, was not cost effective for PBS and Netflix has opted to pick it up. A new title is expected to be announced. Further details, including an episode count and premiere date, have not been confirmed yet.

Hosted by Phil Rosenthal, “I’ll Have What Phil’s Having” features the “Everybody Loves Raymond” creator exploring culinary capitals of the world as he dines on regional specialties around the world.
