Netflix Cancels Drama ‘Bloodline’

Final 10 Episodes to Be Streamed in May 2017

Netflix has opted against a fourth season of Emmy nominated drama “Bloodline,” which will officially conclude after the season three episodes – 10 in total — are made available for streaming in May 2017. Debuting on Feb. 9, 2015, “Bloodline” followed the exploits of the Rayburn family after the eldest brother and black sheep (Ben Mendelsohn) returns home, exposing the emotional demons at the family’s core. Created by the team behind “Damages,” the series also stars Kyle Chandler, Linda Cardellini, Norbert Leo Butz, Jacinda Barrett, John Leguizamo, Jamie McShane, Enrique Murciano, Sissy Spacek, and Sam Shepard.

Historically, “Bloodline” is only the third Netflix original show to face the axe, following dramas “Lilyhammer” and “Hemlock Grove.”
