Television Series Arriving on Netflix, Amazon and Hulu in November 2015

New original and off-network series titles for the month of November will appear on the streaming video services Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu.

Several original series for streaming services debut this month. “The Man in the High Castle” debuts its inaugural season on Amazon on Friday, Nov. 20. Based on a story by science fiction author Philip K. Dick, the drama details an alternate universe where the Nazis and the Japanese had won World War II and rule over America’s land. The series is executive produced by acclaimed legendary film director Ridley Scott.

Netflix showcases several of its new programs in November as well.

“Seven Deadly Sins”, Netflix’s Japanese-anime “Game of Thrones”-esque series about a deposed princess looking to take back her former kingdom from tyrannical rule debuts Sunday, Nov. 1.

Aziz Ansari (“Parks and Recreation”) stars as a 30-year-old actor in New York who is at a crossroads in his life in Netflix’s new comedy “Master of None” (Nov. 6).

A CGI-animated update of the 80’s “Care Bears” series entitled “Care Bears and Cousins” (Nov. 6).

Bob Odenkirk and David Cross, previously of HBO’s late 90’s “Mr. Show” return to sketch comedy in a new comedy entitled “With Bob and David” (Nov. 13) about two men who’ve been dishonorably discharged from the Navy Seals.

Also on Friday, Nov. 13, John Mulaney (“SNL”) debuts his comedy special “John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid”

Krysten Ritter (“Don’t Trust The B**** in Apartment 23”) plays a New York City private investigator whose ex-superhero past comes back to haunt her on “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” (Nov. 20)

Past seasons of TV series also arrive on Netflix include: the first season of Bravo’s first scripted drama “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce” (Nov. 1) starring Lisa Edelstein (“House”); the third season of BBC’s “Last Tango in Halifax” (Nov. 2); the second season of Nick Jr.’s “Julius Jr.” (Nov. 3); the second season of ABC Family’s sitcom “Young & Hungry” (Nov. 13); the fourth seasons of each Syfy’s “Continuum” (Nov. 20) and Disney Channel’s “Jessie” (Nov. 20); the lone single season of now-defunct ABC sitcom “Cristela” (Nov. 16); BBC’s new drama “River” (Nov. 18) starring Stellan Skarsgård (“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”) as a brilliant police detective whose fractured mind is haunted by the murder victims whose cases he must resolve; the third season of Cartoon Network’s “LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu” (Nov. 20); the second season of SundanceTV’s drama “The Red Road” (Nov. 23); the third season of Disney XD’s animated “Ultimate Spider-Man” (Nov. 23); the second season of Disney Channel’s comedy “Liv and Maddie” (Nov. 24); and, the fourth season of ABC Family’s drama “Switched at Birth” (Nov. 25).

History Channel’s hit medieval drama “Vikings” premieres its third season on Hulu on Thursday, Nov. 12 and on Amazon on Thursday, Nov. 19.

Also on Amazon: the entire six-part BBC miniseries “Wolf Hall” (Nov. 10) starring Mark Rylance and, formerly of “Homeland”, Damian Lewis; season three of hit British dramedy “Mr. Selfridge” (Nov. 18) starring Jeremy Piven (“Entourage”); the first half of the fifth season MTV’s hit drama “Teen Wolf” (Nov. 22); and, the fifth (and final) season of TNT’s apocalyptic action drama “Falling Skies” (Nov. 28).
