Eve Officially Joins ‘The Talk’ on CBS

CBS’ “The Talk” introduced rap star and actress Eve as their new fifth permanent co-host officially on Tuesday, Nov. 14. She replaces Aisha Tyler who had departed in July after six years on the program.

Eve rose to fame in the late 90’s in the world of hip-hop, peaking in 2001 with her Grammy-winning collaboration with Gwen Stefani for her biggest hit, “Let Me Blow Ya Mind”. Eve also acted in the “Barbershop” feature film franchise as well as starring in her own self-titled sitcom for the defunct UPN in 2003-06.

She had previously appeared as a guest co-host on “The Talk” during the week of October 30.
