Fox Announces Winter Premiere Dates

Five New Series Launch; 'Bones,' 'Sleepy Hollow' and 'Rosewood' Return

Fox, which benefited significantly by the seven game “World Series,” has unveiled its new and returning Winter series premiere dates. Included are new sitcom “The Mick;” new dramas “Star,” “24: Legacy” and “APB,” new reality/competition “My Kitchen Rules;” the returns of Bones” (subtitled “The Final Chapter”), Sleepy Hollow” and “MasterChef Junior;” and new time periods for “New Girl,” “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Rosewood,” three series that are currently struggling in the ratings.

The changes impact the five nights of the week: Tuesday through Friday and Sunday.

Here are the premiere dates (with new shows in caps):

Wednesday, December 14:
8:00 p.m. “Empire” (fall finale)
9:00 p.m. “STAR” (Series premiere)

Sunday, January 1, 2017:
8:00 p.m. “THE MICK” (out of an NFL doubleheader)
8:30 p.m. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (Winter Finale, part one)
9:00-9:30 “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (Winter Finale, part two)
9:30 p.m. “Family Guy” (repeat)

Tuesday, January 3
8:00 p.m. “New Girl” (time period premiere)

    New Girl anchors Tuesday LOL. That’s all I can say. With Bones final season at 9.

    Gotham and Lucifer seem like a decent pairing so that’s fine I guess.

    Over using Gordon Ramsay to death. Another HK Cycle already? Good grief. Fox is in the gutter that NBC use to be in
