Fox Renews ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ With a Focus on Kids

Contestants Between the Age of 8 and 13 Will Be Paired with All-Star Dancers

On-the-fence “So You Think You Can Dance” will return on Fox for a 13th season with new theme “The Next Generation,” featuring contestants between the ages of 8 and 13 paired with all-star dancers. Host Cat Deeley will be back, along with judges Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo. The returning all-stars will be revealed at a later date.

The new season of “So You Think You Can Dance” premieres Monday, May 30. Auditions begin Feb. 27 in Los Angeles.
