Freeform Cancels Sophomore Drama ‘Famous in Love’

A Total of 20 Episodes Were Produced

Freeform has opted against a third season of scripted drama “Famous in Love,” whicn makes the May 30th season-ender now the official series finale. Debuting on April 18, 2017, “Famous in Love” featured Bella Thorne as Paige Townsen, an ordinary college student who gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cancellation was a result of difficulties making an updated streaming deal with Hulu as well as reported clashes between Bella Thorne and showrunner I, Marlene King.
