Highlights from The Carol Burnett 50th Anniversary Special

CBS celebrated the 50th anniversary of the variety/comedy sketch program “The Carol Burnett Show” with a two-hour retrospective on Dec. 3.

Burnett welcomed two from the show’s original cast, Vicki Lawrence and Lyle Waggoner. There were also many celebrities who joined Burnett to reflect on the hit classic that originally aired on CBS from 1967 to 1978 — they included Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Jane Lynch, Kaley Cuoco, Jim Carrey, Martin Short, Jay Leno, Bill Hader, Tracee Ellis-Ross, Beth Behrs, Stephen Colbert, Bernadette Peters, and Kristin Chenoweth.
