Hulu Cancels Animated ‘The Awesomes’

30 Episodes Were Produced in Three Seasons

Hulu has decided not to move forward on a fourth season of animated comedy “The Awesomes.”  Debuting on Aug. 1, 2013 and created by Seth Meyers and Mike Shoemaker, “The Awesomes” follows a group of superheroes who step in and replace the members of a legendary but disbanding superhero team.  The voice talent included Ike Barinholtz, Taran Killam, Kenan Thompson, Rashida Jones, Bill Hader, Rachel Dratch and Bobby Moynihan. And the now final episode on Hulu aired on November 3 and 30 episodes were produced.

The producers of “The Awesomes” are, however, in search of a new outlet.
