Kansas City Chiefs Win with Successful Ricochet Field Goal in Overtime

Off the upright… AND IN! AND IN!! Unbelievable game winner Kansas City! YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!

That was a quote uttered by NBC play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico (filling in for the vacationing Al Michaels) as he called Kansas City Chiefs’ Cairo Santos kick a 34-yard game-winning field goal in overtime. The ball bounced off of the left goal post then flew behind the right goal post. It was enough for the Chiefs to defeat the Denver Broncos 30-27.

At a record of 8 wins-3 losses, the Kansas City Chiefs remain one game behind the AFC West-leading Oakland Raiders.
