Lifetime Renews ‘UnREAL’ for Season Three

Ten Episode Renewal Comes Days Before Second Season Opener

Just days before its second season premiere comes word that optimistic Lifetime has issued a third season order to scripted dramedy “UnREAL.” Debuting on June 1, 2015, “UnREAL” focuses on reality TV producer Rachel Goldberg (Shiri Appleby) who returns to the new season of a popular dating show after a meltdown the season before. There she must deal with demanding executive producer Quinn King (Constance Zimmer) and pull out all the stops to manipulate the contestants to create the outrageous drama the viewers expect.

Ten new episodes have been ordered and the second season of “UnREAL” opens this Monday, June 6 at 10 p.m. ET.Season one averaged 3.7 million views per episode across all platforms.
