Metta World Peace Punts Basketball in BIG3 Game and Gets Ejected

Former NBA champion player from the Los Angeles Lakers and former Celebrity Big Brother houseguest Metta World Peace — also known as Ron Artest — made sports news once again on the basketball court on Friday, July 13 as part of BIG3 Basketball, Ice Cube’s 3-on-3 league.

World Peace, a member of the Killer 3s team, was ejected about one minute into his game versus a team called the Trilogy after punting a ball into the crowd at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

After getting tossed, he posed for a selfie with fans on his way to the locker room.
