Modest Start for ‘Candy Crush’ on CBS

Megyn Kelly Newsmagazine Remains a Bust on NBC

Ratings Breakdown:
In series premiere news, CBS game show “Candy Crush” squandered the lead-in support from “Big Brother” with a modest (and second-place) 2.4 rating/4 share in the household overnights from 9-10 p.m. Comparably, that was 40 percent below the 4.0/ 7 for “Big Brother” from 8-9 p.m.

Elsewhere, recently introduced NBC newsmagazine “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly” remained a bust a a third-place 2.2/ 4 from 7-8 p.m. The biggest draw amongst the original ABC game shows on Sunday remained “Celebrity Family Feud,” hosted by Steve Harvey, at a dominant 4.4/ 8 at 8 p.m. Sophomore “American Grit” on Fox, meanwhile, was off the overnight charts at 0.8/ 1 from 9-10 p.m.

    · For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., ranks #1 outright among ABC, CBS and NBC in men 18-34 and men 18-49 and ties for #1 in adults 18-34 and men 25-54.

    An encore of “The Wall” (0.4/2 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):
    · Grows from its first half-hour to its second in adults 18-49 (0.4 to 0.5), total viewers (2.0 million to 2.5 million) and nearly all other key measures.

    · Maintains or increases its rating versus the show’s prior telecast on June 25 in every key demographic – adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
    o Grows 0.1 of a point or +17% versus its previous edition in adults 25-54 (0.7 vs. 0.6).
    o Retains 100% versus its prior telecast in adults 18-49 (0.4 vs. 0.4 on June 25).
    · Is close to rounding up to a 0.5 rating in adults 18-49 (currently reporting a 0.444 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings).
