Monday Final Nationals: ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on ABC Draws Its Best Monday Viewership of the Season

It was a good Monday night for the networks of Disney.

ESPN won Monday night in total viewers, households and all key male and adult demos (18-34, 18-49 and 25-54) with “Monday Night Football” (Bills-Patriots) (Women 18-34: 2.64; Men 18-34: 5.89; Women 18-49: 3.10; Men 18-49: 7.17).

Bills-Patriots peaked from 9:45-10 p.m. ET with a 10.2 rating and 16.502 million viewers.

In Buffalo, the game delivered a 15.1 rating on ESPN and a 27.1 on WKBW-ABC, for a combined 42.2 rating in the market. In Boston, the game delivered a 10.9 rating on ESPN and a 31.5 on WMUR-ABC and WCVB-ABC, for a combined 42.4 rating in the market.

The top 10 metered markets (not including those of the competing teams): Providence (28.2), West Palm Beach (16.1), Hartford (16.0), Denver (13.8), Las Vegas (13.5), New Orleans (12.9), Charlotte (12.7), Phoenix (12.7), Jacksonville (12.6) and Ft. Myers-Naples (12.1).

ABC was the top Big-4 network in total viewers, thanks to the final Monday fall season edition of “Dancing with the Stars(Women 18-34: 2.3/8; Men 18-34: 0.8/3; Women 18-49: 3.1/9; Men 18-49: 1.1/3). For its current season from Sep. 21 thru Nov. 23, it delivered its most-watched telecast in total viewers and tied its best adults 18-49 performance. Its 2-hour season finale airs on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
