ABC's 'The Bachelor' Bests CBS' Competing 'Big Brother - Celebrity Edition' With Ease

Ratings Breakdown:
The ongoing 2018 Winter Olympics on NBC scored an estimated 13.2 rating/21 share in the household overnights in primetime, peaking in the 9:30 p.m. ET half-hour at a 15.0/23. The 11 p.m. half-hour was an 11.9/20. Once again, The Winter Olympics beat the network competition combined.

In the battle of the reality/competitions, the first-hour of ABC’s “The Bachelor” (#2: 4.3/ 6) bested “Big Brother – Celebrity Edition” on CBS (3.5/ 5) by 23 percent in household rating. Last night’s episode of “Big Brother” featured more banter from Omarosa about life in the White House.

Overall, veteran “The Bachelor” scored a respectable 4.3/ 7 in the household overnights despite facing The Winter Olympics.

In time period premiere news was “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow” on The CW at a 1.1/ 2 in the 8 p.m. hour, which was 25 percent below “Supergirl” one week earlier (1.6/ 3 on Feb. 5). Elsewhere, it was all encore telecasts.
