NBC Cancels ‘Timeless’

26 Episodes Aired in Total

Cult favorite science fiction travel drama “Timeless,” which NBC canceled last spring and ultimately reversed its decision, will not be returning for a third season. This time, the cancellation seems to be for real, but creator Eric Kripke said on Twitter that they are exploring the possibility of making a two-hour movie to wrap up storylines.

Debuting on Oct. 3, 2016, “Timeless” starred Abigail Spencer, Malcolm Barrett and Matt Lanter  as a team that attempt to stop a mysterious organization from changing the course of American history through time travel.
