NBC Confirms Talent on ‘America’s Got Talent’ for Next Season

Reality/Competition Renewed for Season 12

The kinder and gentler version of Simon Cowell will return as one of the four judges on “America’s Got Talent” on NBC next summer, as will Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. Host Nick Cannon is also confirmed to return.

“With the addition of Simon, the chemistry between our judges has grown even stronger and it’s easy to see how much enthusiasm they bring to the show night after night,” said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment. “Nick adds a boundless energy as host that ties everything together. We’re thrilled to have such a strong team returning for season 12.”

Summer to-date, “America’s Got Talent” is topping the broadcast networks with 13.6 million viewers and a 3.0 rating/12 share in adults 18-49 on Tuesday.
