NBC Renews Sitcom ‘Marlon’ for Season Two

Half-Hour Expected to Return Next Summer

NBC has greenlit a second season of scripted comedy “Marlon,” with an unconfirmed number of new episodes for 2018. Debuting on August 16, “Marlon,” which is loosely based on the life of the sitcom’s star, Marlon Wayans, follows divorced couple Marlon Wayne and his ex-wife Ashley as they try to stay friends for the sake of their two children, Marley and Zack.

Ten episodes aired in season one, with two episodes each Wednesday for five weeks.
