Netflix Orders Season Two of ‘Stranger Things’

Netflix has issued a second season renewal to “Stranger Things,” with an order for nine new episodes. Set in Indiana in the 1980s, the plot follows the disappearance of a young boy, and a telekinetic girl who helps his friends in their search, while the boy’s older brother, mother, and the town police chief start their own investigation. Creators and writers Matt and Ross Duffer, and executive producers Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen will return for this second season.

“Stranger Things” is produced by 21 Laps for Netflix.
