Netflix Renews ‘Narcos’ for Two More Seasons

Ten New Episodes are Expected for Each New Season

Just four days after releasing season two, Netflix has greenlit two more seasons of drama “Narcos.” The first season tracked the rise of real-life cocaine kingpin Escobar (Wagner Moura) in the 1970s and 1980s, while season two focuses on the 18 months leading up to his death in 1993. José Padilha (“Elite Squad,” “RoboCop”) and Eric Newman (“Children of Men”) will continue to serve as executive producers of the series, which is produced by Gaumont International Television for Netflix.
