Netflix Renews ‘The OA’ For Season Two

Eight Episodes Were Streamed in Season One

Netflix has greenlit a second season of drama “The OA,” with an official return date and new episode count not immediately available. Created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, Marling stars as a young woman named Prairie Johnson who resurfaces after having been missing for seven years. Prairie now calls herself “The OA” and can see, despite having been blind before her disappearance.

The first season, consisting of eight episodes, was available for streaming on December 16.
