ABC Orders Revival of ‘Match Game’

“Match Game,” produced by FremantleMedia North America (FMNA), will return to primetime in a one-hour weekly version hosted by former “30 Rock” star Alec Baldwin. The 10-episode series will air Sunday nights on ABC at 10 p.m. ET following “Celebrity Family Feud” (with Steve Harvey) and “The $100,000 Pyramid” (with Michael Strahan) from 8-10 p.m. as part of a three-hour block themed ABC’s Sunday Fun & Games.

The original “Match Game,” hosted by Gene Rayburn, aired on NBC in daytime from 1962-69. It returned on CBS, also in daytime, in 1973, and moved into first-run syndication in 1979. It concluded in 1982.
