“Match Game,” produced by FremantleMedia North America (FMNA), will return to primetime in a one-hour weekly version hosted by former “30 Rock” star Alec Baldwin. The 10-episode series will air Sunday nights on ABC at 10 p.m. ET following “Celebrity Family Feud” (with Steve Harvey) and “The $100,000 Pyramid” (with Michael Strahan) from 8-10 p.m. as part of a three-hour block themed ABC’s Sunday Fun & Games.

The original “Match Game,” hosted by Gene Rayburn, aired on NBC in daytime from 1962-69. It returned on CBS, also in daytime, in 1973, and moved into first-run syndication in 1979. It concluded in 1982.

“‘Match Game’ is one of the crown jewels in our portfolio, and we’re thrilled to be bringing it to viewers in primetime,” said Jennifer Mullin, co-CEO, FremantleMedia North America. “The team at ABC continue to be a terrific partner for us as we expand our game show slate, and with the charismatic and quick-witted Alec Baldwin as our host, ‘Match Game’ has all the right elements to be a fun and entertaining summer staple.”
