CBS Announces Midseason Schedule

New Shows Include Sitcom "Angel From Hell" and Drama "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders"

CBS has unveiled its programming plans for midseason, which will include the debuts of sitcom “Angel From Hell” (which was delayed from the fall) and “Criminal Minds” spin-off “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders;” and the returns of “Mike & Molly,” “The Odd Couple” and “Undercover Boss.”

“Undercover Boss” is up first with three airings in the Sunday 8 p.m. hour on Dec. 20, Dec. 27 and Jan. 3. It moves to the Friday 8 p.m. hour on Jan. 8 until the next edition of “The Amazing Race” returns on Feb. 12. CBS is positioning comedies in the Wednesday 8 p.m. hour in between editions of “Survivor,” with relocated “2 Broke Girls” at 8 p.m. into returning “Mike & Molly” at 8:30 p.m. “Angel From Hell” with Jane Lynch will debut Thursday at 9:30 p.m. (out of “Mom”) on January 7, while sophomore “The Odd Couple” steps in for “Life in Pieces” (which will have concluded the season) in the Thursday 8:30 p.m. half-hour (out of “The Big Bang Theory”) on April 7.

“Criminal Minds: Without Borders,” meanwhile, launches in the Wednesday 10 p.m. hour on March 2 (in place of “Code Black,” which concludes the season, or series, on Feb. 24). And two scripted hours – newbie “Rush Hour” and returning “Person of Interest” are still waiting in the wings.
