THURSDAY, JUNE 15, 2017

Household Rating/Share
ABC: 3.0/ 6, CBS: 2.9/ 5, NBC: 2.2/ 4, Fox: 1.1/ 2, CW: 0.6/ 1

-Percent Change from the Year-Ago Evening:
Note: ABC aired game six of The NBA Finals one year earlier.
CW: no change, CBS: – 9, NBC: -12, Fox: -28, ABC: -72

-Ratings Breakdown:
A night of all game show repeats was enough for ABC to dominate this particularly low-rated pre-summer Thursday. “Celebrity Family Feud” opened with a 3.4 rating/6 share in the household overnights, which was 48 percent above an encore telecast of competing “The Wall” on NBC (#3: 2.3/ 4). Next on ABC was “To Tell the Truth” (#1: 3.0/ 5 at 9 p.m.), which was 36 percent above another repeat telecast of NBC’s “The Wall” (#3: 2.2/ 4). And a second-run of “The $100,000 Pyramid” capped off the evening with a dominant 2.6/ 5 at 10 p.m..

Consider it particularly uneventful when the top-rated broadcast network for the evening averages only a 3.0 rating in the metered market households.

Tops for the evening was a repeat of “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS (4.3/ 8 at 8 p.m.), which led into encore telecasts of “Superior Donuts” (#2: 3.2/ 6), “Mom” (#1: 3.1/ 6), “Life in Pieces” (#2: 2.4/ 4) and a Thursday 10 p.m. edition of “Scorpion” (#2: 2.1/ 4).

The only original programming for the evening was 8-9 p.m. coverage of the 2017 U.S. Open Golf Championship on Fox, and that was left at the starting gate with a 1.2/ 2 in the household overnights. Next on Fox was an encore of the revival of “Love Connection,” hosted by Andy Cohen, at a fourth-place 0.9/ 2 at 9 p.m..

NBC aired a Thursday 10 p.m. edition of “Law & Order: SVU,” which scored a third-place 2.0/ 4. And The CW populated the night with back-to-back repeats of “Supernatural,” which averaged a 0.6/ 1 from 8-10 p.m. Yawn!
