Married With Bananas Wins Series Premiere of ABC’s ‘The Gong Show’ Reboot

The newest reboot of the classic campy 70’s talent show “The Gong Show” premiered on ABC on June 22.

The night’s winning act was Married with Bananas, a man-woman duo who each took turns chewing on bananas and spitting them out into their partner’s mouth.

At one point, they also allowed each of the show’s judges — Zach Galifinakis, Ken Jeong and “Gong Show” executive producer Will Arnett — attempt to shoot banana chunks from their mouths into the act’s mouths.

Their grand prize for winning the evening: $2,000.17.
