Sunday Final Nationals: Significant Milestones for ‘Homeland’ and ‘The Affair’ in Season Finales on Showtime

NBC was Sunday night’s top network of all of television in all key measures, thanks to, of course, “Sunday Night Football” (Arizona-Philadelphia) (Women 18-34: 3.4/13; Men 18-34: 6.6/26; Women 18-49: 4.0/13; Men 18-49: 8.3/26).

Fox had an above average Sunday evening — despite no late afternoon NFL lead-in — with the three-hour “Miss Universe Pageant(Women 18-34: 1.4/5; Men 18-34: 1.4/5; Women 18-49: 1.6/5; Men 18-49: 1.6/5) telecast, the first time the network carried this event and the first in the post-Trump-ownership era. Most notable was host Steve Harvey mistakenly saying Miss Columbia had won when in actuality, the crown belonged to Miss Philippines.
